Quick Start

Option 1: Install from Anthropic Connectors

1. Open Connectors Page

   • Go to Anthropic Connectors
   • Search for “lastminute.com” or “Flight & Hotels”

2. Install the Connector

   • Click on the lastminute.com MCP Server
   • Click Install to add it to your Claude account

3. Start Using

   • The MCP Server is now available in all your conversations
   • Ask Claude to search for flights, hotels, or packages and it will use the connector automatically

Option 2: Configure in Claude Desktop

1. Open Claude Desktop Settings

   • Go to Settings > Developers
   • Click Update Configuration to open claude_desktop_config.json

2. Add the MCP Server Configuration

   • Add the following configuration to your JSON file:

Search Modes

The MCP Server operates in three distinct modes for flight search:

1. Default Mode (Price-Sorted)

Returns flights sorted by price (cheapest first). No filters applied.

Use for: “find flights”, “cheapest flights”

Example: “Find flights from Milan to London on December 20th”

2. Filter Mode (Server-Side Filtering)

Applies filters server-side before returning results. Results sorted by price after filtering.

Use for: “morning flights”, “under 200 EUR”, “direct only”, “from specific airport”

Example: “Show me direct morning flights from Rome to Paris under 150 EUR”

3. Ranking Mode (Smart Recommendations)

Uses intelligent ranking algorithm considering price, duration, stops and other features.

Use for: “best flights”, “recommended flights”

Example: “What are the best flights from Barcelona to New York next week?”

For hotel and package searches, results are returned sorted by the selected sort strategy (default: recommended).

Available Filters

Time Filters

• Departure/Arrival windows: Specify time ranges in HH:MM format
  • Example: “06:00” to “12:00” for morning flights

Price Filters

• Min/Max price: Set price limits in cents
  • Example: 15000 cents = 150 EUR

Airport Filters

• Specific airports: Use IATA codes (comma-separated)
  • Example: “MXP,LIN” for Malpensa or Linate

Connection Filters

• Max stops: 0 = direct only, 1 = max 1 stop

Airline Filters

• Include/Exclude airlines: Whitelist or blacklist by IATA code
  • Example: “FR,U2” for Ryanair and easyJet only

Duration Filter

• Max duration: Specify maximum flight time in minutes
  • Example: 180 = max 3 hours

Hotel & Package Filters

• Hotel stars: Filter by star rating (e.g. “4” for 4-star hotels)
• Accommodation type: Filter by type using comma-separated IDs (1=Hotels, 2=Resorts, 3=Apartments, 4=Hostels, 5=Motels, 8=B&B, 9=Villas)
• Facilities: Filter by amenities using comma-separated IDs — 0=Free Wi-Fi, 3=Parking, 4=Pool, 6=Spa, 13=Fitness Center, 58=Restaurant
  • Example: accommodation_facilities="3,6" for Parking + Spa

Supported Languages

The MCP Server supports the following languages for both flight and hotel/package searches.

Response Format

Results are returned in a structured table format. Since these searches include accommodation details, the table includes hotel information and a photo link when available.

To book, click the ‘Book’ link in your preferred flight.

Dynamic Packages & Hotels

In addition to flight-only search, the MCP Server supports hotel-only stays and combined vacation packages (Flight + Hotel). A single request is enough — the server handles the rest.

• Search Flight + Hotel packages as bundled offers.
• Search Hotel Only stays when flights are not needed.
• Apply richer constraints including amenity/facility filters and accommodation-type preferences.

Advanced Facility Filtering

Results can be filtered by specific facilities using comma-separated IDs.

Common Facility IDs: 0=Free Wi-Fi, 3=Parking, 4=Pool, 6=Spa, 13=Fitness Center, 58=Restaurant.

Example Prompt: “Find me a flight + hotel package to Madrid with a Spa and Parking” (the server will use accommodation_facilities="3,6").

Response Format

Results are presented as a structured table when searching for hotels:
